Frequently Asked Questions

What does Comfort & Care Solutions do?
We help families find the right senior living community and guide every step that follows, from first tour to fully settled. Services may include community placement, move-in coordination, room setup and organization, essentials kits, and follow-up support.

Do you help families choose a senior living community?
Yes. We help families tour, evaluate, and choose the right senior living community, including independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing options. We help you compare options, ask the right questions, and feel more confident in the decision.

What is Community Placement?
Community Placement is guidance for families who are unsure which senior living option is the right fit. We help you understand the differences between independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing, then support you through tours, questions, and the decision-making process.

Do families pay for Community Placement?
No. Community Placement is offered at no cost to families. When a family chooses a senior living community we work with, Comfort & Care Solutions may receive a placement fee from that community. Our goal is always to help you compare options, ask the right questions, and choose the setting that best fits your loved one’s needs.

What happens after we choose a community?
Once a community is selected, we can help coordinate the next steps, including communication with the facility, move-in scheduling, vetted movers, room setup, essentials, and follow-up support after move-in.

Can you help if we already chose a community?
Yes. If you already know where your loved one is moving, we can step in with move-in coordination, room setup and organization, essentials kits, and follow-up support.

Do you replace the senior living community’s move-in coordinator?
No. We work alongside the community team to make the transition smoother for your family. The community handles its internal process, while we help coordinate the personal, logistical, and family-side details that often fall on loved ones.

Do you work with adult children who live out of town?
Yes. Many families we support are coordinating from another city or state. We can help serve as a local point of contact, communicate updates, coordinate details, and help make sure your loved one feels settled.
